CAGE 4'33"

David Tudor, performing Cage's most well-known work, 4'33". This is an excerpt from 'American Masters' as well. I performed this work publicly in 1997 and I have to say it was quite an intense experience for me....it should also be noted that this work was created during the period of Cage's involvement with Black Mountain College in North Carolina. 4'33" has a symbiotic relationship with Rauschenberg's all white paintings, created during roughly same time.
