I hit the 6th Annual Vans/ProTec Pool Party last Saturday primarily for two reasons:
1. Witness two true legends Chris Miller and Duane Peters destroy Upland Combi replica.
2. Watch 'Blocks for Bucks' competition, and see Grosso either A) boardslide, or B) 50/50 the entire circumference of the Round Bowl...needless to say, I was rewarded by witnessing this in person.
Nobody else was even close to duplicating the 28 blocks Grosso covered...and it was a great moment to feel the entire building erupt with stoked cheers as Grosso rode out of it. Photo courtesy of MRZ at Vans.com.
