One of my all time favorite bands and songs is reviewed today over on the Daily Guru. I had this tape, which we always referred to as the ROIR sessions, on constant rotation for all skate sessions from 1986-1988...(I had a 'red' version of the cassette).
This record had a HUGE influence on a lot of people, especially the underground/East Coast scene. Everyone from Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys to Ian MacKaye of Fugazi/Minor Threat/Teen Idles cites this recording as a huge inspiration on their lives.
